Types of care
Erskine is a family. Our strength lies in the very special blend of dedicated care, compassion and understanding we offer to our residents and their families. As the UK’s foremost provider of care for veterans, we provide unrivalled rehabilitation, nursing and dementia care in our homes throughout Scotland.
A personal approach
Each Erskine resident is allocated a key worker. Together with the resident and their family, the key worker will create a personal care plan. The plan includes likes and dislikes such as food, drinks, recreational activities and what the person enjoys.
We offer a unique quality of care with the provision of physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, podiatry and enhanced medical care on site.
Residential nursing care
Designed for the many veterans who, through disability, frailty, or for their own personal welfare and wellbeing choose to live in a caring environment.
Dementia care
Erskine Park is specifically designed to help people with dementia and staffed by specialists who are fully trained in caring for individuals with dignity and respect.
Rehabilitation care
A 24 hour service from staff who understand the needs of veterans. Erskine also offers help with supported employment, housing and contact with other veterans.
Speech and language therapy
The speech therapy we provide helps residents with communication difficulties as a result of stroke, progressive neurological conditions or cognitive decline.
Respite and short break care
Erskine is a great place to recharge your batteries if you’re recovering from an illness or injury and need a place where you’ll be well looked after.
Palliative care
Our approach addresses the needs of the resident and their family, improving the quality of life and supporting residents to live as actively as possible until death.
Physiotherapy
Our dedicated physiotherapy team serves all of our homes and ensures that none of our veterans misses out on this valuable and worthwhile care.
