Local Building Contractors donate to Erskine

The Erskine veterans charity, recently received a welcome boost to funds with a donation from local building contractors, Project Management & Construction.

Veteran Irene Adam (RAF) met Director Alan Cockburn and his colleague Hugh Jamieson when they visited the Erskine Home in Bishopton to handover the generous cheque in the amount of £1500. The funds, raised with the help of the firm’s customers and contractors, at the company’s annual Ceilidh at Bowfield Country Club, will help support the care of over 1300 ex-Service men and women each year.

Erskine’s Deputy Head of Fundraising Lesley Miller said, ‘It is wonderful to be able to show Alan and Hugh how much their donations benefit our country’s ex-Service men and women. Project Management & Construction are very generous supporters of Erskine and, in particular, the Erskine Military Ball. It is clearly important to them to be good corporate citizens - and we can’t thank them enough for all their kindness.’
